MANUAL THERAPY: Manual therapy is a form of physical therapy that involves the use of the therapist's hands to mobilize the muscles, joints, and soft tissues of the body. Techniques used in manual therapy include massage, stretching, and joint mobilization and manipulation.
ART (ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUE ): Active Release Technique (ART) is a patented, state-of-the-art soft tissue system/movement-based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. It helps athletes recover faster after difficult training sessions and can be an effective technique to treat acute and chronic conditions that result in muscle tightness and active trigger points.
IASTM (INSTRUMENT ASSISTED SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATIONS such as cupping and scraping): The instruments are designed to slide over the skin and detect any areas of restriction or tissue damage. Once these areas are identified, the practitioner can use the instruments to apply pressure to the affected tissue in a specific pattern to help break down scar tissue, improve range of motion, and reduce pain and inflammation.
